Protocol for cooperation between CIU and Kombos Automotive

Cyprus International University (CIU) Faculty of Engineering and Mercedes-Benz Kombos Automotive sign strategic cooperation agreement. 
Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Prof. Dr. Serkan Abbasoğlu noted that this protocol signed with Mercedes-Benz Kombos Automotive will help provide significant support to the career development of students of the Faculty of Engineering.

Abbasoğlu stated that the sectoral knowledge and global effectiveness of Mercedes-Benz Kombos Automotive which is one of the country's leading companies will provide CIU students work experience opportunities and hence students will have the chance to closely experience and examine the current needs and expectations from the sector. 

Prof. Dr. Abbasoğlu also pointed out that students who will have the opportunity to work or do an internship within the company will have the opportunity to closely follow the most up-to-date technologies in the automotive industry, and thus they will have the chance to gain hands-on experience.

Abbasoğlu also noted that with this cooperation protocol, not only more career opportunities will be offered to CIU Faculty of Engineering students but  students will also have the opportunity to improve themselves by interacting directly with the market.

Kombos Automotive Ltd. Director Serhan Kombos stated that this protocol for cooperation will benefit both  institutions and expressed his belief that CIU students will contribute to the company's global vision.

Pointing out that thanks to this protocol, students will have the chance to be exposed to real life learning  projects related to the departments they study in, Kombos stated that students will not only add the Mercedes-Benz brand to their CVs but will also have the opportunity to be exposed to different  job opportunities.
