CIU 2025-2026 Orientation Days Begin

Cyprus International University (CIU) is preparing to welcome its new students as part of the 2025-2026 Academic Year Fall Semester Student Welcome and Orientation Days.

The orientation events, organized by the CIU Social Activities and Clubs Coordination Office, will take place from September 12 to October 3, 2025. During this period, students coming from different countries around the world will have the opportunity to get to know the university and campus closely, as well as to explore the culture of Northern Cyprus.

The orientation program will include airport pickup services, a cultural city tour of Nicosia, campus tours, a Student Clubs and International Communities Festival, hand-printing on canvas activities, field games, and outdoor movie nights. These activities aim to help students quickly adapt to both academic and social life.

The Student Clubs and International Communities Festival, where university clubs—an important part of university life—will be introduced, will be held at Nature Cafe on September 29 and 30. Students will have the chance to visit the stands of clubs they are interested in and add color to their social lives.

One of the most vibrant events of the orientation process, Color Fest, will begin at 7:00 PM on October 3 at the Outdoor Performing Arts Center. Following the festival, the Homecoming Party will start at 8:00 PM at the same venue, featuring energetic performances by DJs Görkem Dereli and Ece Kanmaz, and continuing with the main stage artist, the band REVA.

This year’s Orientation Days will be sponsored by Telsim. Throughout the program, new students will be welcomed to the “UKÜ Family” through both introductory and socializing events.
