Other Important Information

 

* Graduates of the 2025 - 2026 Academic Year Fall Semester will be able to attend the graduation ceremony.

* The ceremonies will be broadcasted live upon the University’s official YouTube Channel.

Graduation Yearbook Photo Shoot

For your photographs to be placed in the Graduation Yearbook with your graduation gowns, graduation yearbook photography sessions will take place between 26 – 30 January 2026 in CU112 at the Çevik Uraz Center from 9:00 till 16:30. Students who do not have their photographs taken will not have their photographs in the yearbook.

Registration to the Graduation Ceremony and Distribution of Graduation Gowns

In order to register for the graduation ceremony, students in the position to graduate will be asked upon SIS whether they will attend the ceremony. Students who confirm their attendance can go to the classroom CU111 at the Çevik Uraz Center to collect their graduation gowns. With the collection of their gowns, their registration will be confirmed. Students who already have a graduation gown must first confirm their registration upon SIS and then attend the above-mentioned classroom in order to confirm their registration. Students who wish to get a graduation gown need to apply at the above-mentioned classroom with a receipt of payment (Account Name: New Island Education Ltd, Bank: Nova Bank Ltd, Account Number: 700000391, Uban: CT721310911100000000700000391-Payment 3000 TL) during the dates 26 – 30 January 2026 from 09:00 till 16:30. The student names and surnames, and student numbers must be noted upon the receipts (Bank working hours are). Wearing a CIU graduation gown and cap is compulsory for all students who will attend the graduation ceremony.

Those who return their gowns and caps between 29 January – 4 February 2026 during 09:00 - 16:30, at classroom CU111 located at the Çevik Uraz Center, will be reimbursed 2300 TL for the funds they paid.

Distribution of Diplomas

As the diplomas will not be distributed at the graduation ceremony, graduates will be able to inquire about the state of their diplomas from SIS after 15 April 2026. When the diploma is ready, it can be picked up from the Student Services Building, or graduates can request for their diplomas to be posted to their address.

Note: Graduating students should arrive and be ready in the grass area between the Çevik Uraz Center and the Science and Technology Center at least one hour before the ceremony start time for their faculty. You will be given a QR code wristband in that area, which will allow your name to be read aloud during the ceremony. Please note that students can only attend the ceremony scheduled for their own faculty and cannot join another faculty’s ceremony time.
